Wolfram interactives test page


First please install the Wolfram Demonstrations CDF Player. It's freeware and you can find it at the Wolfram downloads page. This will be a one-time download and installation.

Wolfram widgets:

Create an account at Wolfram and go to the Wolfram:alpha widget home page.
An example widget for teaching about straight-line graphs:

The general format is y = mx + c. Here's a widget I wrote in a few minutes to explore this:


When you've made a widget, open it in Safari, click the little red </> button to get the html and simply paste it in as an html widget. Simples!
(This works fine as long as you are using Safari to view the Wolfram page. The blogging links don't show properly in IE.)

Wolfram Demonstrations

These also work, up to a point. At the moment these are only screenshots linked to the correct page at Wolfram. The demonstration is, of course, interactive there, but not as yet when embedded here, but interactive embedding is promised:
